# WMS/WMTS

Connect to standard [Web Map Service](https://www.ogc.org/publications/standard/wms/) (WMS) and Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) data sources to incorporate authoritative geographic information into your maps. These OGC-compliant services allow you to access and display map imagery from government agencies, research institutions, and other spatial data providers.

Only HTTPS sources are supported with Felt's WMS/WMTS Source. HTTP is not supported in Felt.

1. Click on the Library (![](https://217108486-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FmRfGitkyjOEMvVsEyGWN%2Fuploads%2FLnSW6fo5omDMlCbsymbR%2Flibrary.svg?alt=media\&token=49cf5737-e139-4803-8a0e-47fc1c0bbb6a)) in the toolbar
2. Click **`+ New Source`**
3. Select WMS/WMTS
4. Enter Connection Details
   1. **`Source Name`**: name of the source in Felt
   2. **`URL`**: the URL of your WMS/WMTS source. (HTTPS required)
5. Click **`Connect`**
6. Once connected you will see a catalog of your data with previews for your new source
7. From here you can add any of these layers to your spatial dashboards!
